Co-Line Welding, Inc.

Unparalleled Quality, Service & Price

In 1978, Dale Brand decided he could be a better welder than a concrete truck driver and opened a small 30' x 52' shop. On April 9, 1979, County Line Welding officially opened for business with livestock equipment, repairs and welding for local farmers and business making up the majority of the work. Later, the business incorporated changing the name to Co-Line Welding, Inc.

Over the years, numerous additions were made to accommodate the growing business. Brand developed the Sure-Latch product line in 1988 featuring products used on residential, commercial and livestock gates. Sure-Latch created a need for stamped metal components and in 1990, Co-Line purchased its first stamping presses. Today, Co-Line has 14 stamping presses, a full-service tool and die department and state-of-the-art laser cutting and welding equipment. Co-Line now manufactures parts for Fortune 500 companies such as Daimler Chrysler, Ford Motor Co., General Motors, Kawasaki, Precision Pulley, Vermeer Manufacturing, Pella Corporation and many more.

In 1991, Co-Line partnered with Goalsetter Systems and produced one of the first height-adjustable basketball goals. For 15 years, Co-Line manufactured the basketball goals and purchased Goalsetter Systems in 2006.

2006 marked a pivotal point in Co-Line's history. In addition to the purchase of Goalsetter Systems, Co-Line began producing 20-round and 30-round gun clips for the M16 rifle for the Department of Defense as well as the civilian market.

The family-owned business has successfully evolved from a small, 1,000 square foot building to a state-of-the-art 180,000 square foot facility with 130 employees.
